Definition: (Com*mu"ni*ty, noun; plural Communities)
"The organization and system created by persons or groups of individuals or countries, variable in size and extent, that bring together common interests, values, or problems, outlooks and aspirations."
In a stricter use of the term, community is a group of people who interact with each other, share knowledge and information and of course, share a common interest.
That's what we strive for St. Peter's: People who live in community with one another, people who share life together, people who share hardships and celebrations. It is our goal to extend that community in various forms. One, being our Sunday morning worship gatherings, another very important element being Home Groups.
We hope to expand our horizons to include an on-line virtual community where we can share life, questions, exchange information, goods, etc., through website forums.
